i *LOVE* beatrix potter, i mean really love and i always dreamt i would cross stitch the entire alphabet (BP) of course, piece it together to make some sort of absolutely beautiful quilt for my first born. ach, one day!

Thanks for that tutorial Sarah. I will definitely use it – I have some of that (as yet untouched!) fabric that I bought to make my bag. Of course, that’s been a project on the backburner until apres exams… sigh. But I know I will have spare fabric so excellent use for it!

Ooh… Timbrel’s sounds good. May have to wait until there’s a pressing need to head out in that direction though — driving out to the Hutt to look at cardstock isn’t quite James’ idea of a fun morning. Odd, I know.

(I couldn’t find a website, but in case anyone else is interested the address is Timbrel Paper Products, 33 Montgomery Crescent, Maoribank, Upper Hutt City. I think.)

Kraft cardstock supplies…. A4 can be purchased from Stampin Up. THere are 2 names I could pass on to you to contact at your leisure if you are interested in that option.

Or, have you checked Timbrall’s (I think that is the spelling…) in Upper Hutt. They have an enormous stock of cardstock of various colours and grades that are pretty cheap. I think they are all off cuts or slightly imperfect so they sell to the public.

and man! Count me in for being jealous at you doing the course…. I would love to have done it, but I had to be good and prioritise for exams etc. Hate it when conscience pricks
